3M Smart Clip
Our practice offers what Dr. Howell feels is the very best braces on the market today. Although they cost a good bit more, we do not charge extra to use these braces on our patients. We want to give everyone the best smile possible in an efficient amount of time, and these braces do just that! They are self-ligating, so there is no need for rubber o-ties that fill with plaque and bind the wire with friction.
In addition, they are individually prepackaged with the best 3M glue so that patients have a quicker "braces on" experience with sterile brackets! Lastly, these high tech special braces allow us to see patients in 10-12 week increments for much of their treatment so they don't have to schedule to come in as often and can finish in a shorter amount of time.

Orthodontics is designed to reposition and straighten teeth, but surgical orthodontics may be needed in some cases to correct more severe jaw irregularities. Surgical orthodontics is used to straighten the jaw into alignment, often improving a patient's ability to chew, speak, and breathe. Braces are often worn in conjunction with orthodontic surgery to make sure the teeth stay in the proper position as well.
